Ayatollah Khamenei: This year's Bera'at should continue beyond the world's Hajj season

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in a message to the pilgrims of the House of Allah said: "This year's Bera'at (distancing from polytheists) should continue beyond the Hajj season and time in Muslim-populated countries and cities around the world and spread beyond the hypocrites to all men."

According to Khamenei.ir, Hazrat Ayatollah Khamenei in a message addressed to the pilgrims of the House of Allah, on the occasion of the arrival of the days of the Abrahamic Hajj, emphasized: "The great gathering and the complex rituals of the Hajj, whenever viewed with the eyes of prudence, are a source of strength and faith for a Muslim, and for the enemy and the ill-wisher, fearful and terrible."

Referring to the distancing ceremony of polytheists in the Hajj, he said: "This year's distancing should continue beyond the Hajj season, in Muslim-populated countries and cities around the world, and spread beyond the pilgrims to all people."

In another part of his message, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution advised pilgrims to practice the teachings and truths of Hajj and added: "You brothers and sisters who are pilgrims, you are now in the field of practicing these truths and teachings. Bring your thought and action closer and closer to it and bring home the recovered identity mixed with these sublime concepts. This is the valuable and true souvenir of your Hajj journey."

The full text of this message will be published on Saturday by the representative of the religious jurist and head of the Iranian pilgrims at the ceremony of distancing from the polytheists in Arafat.
