Azerbaijan persistently calls the border with Armenia "conditional"

As reported by APA, a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Defense was held under the chairmanship of Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov on the results of 2024.

The Minister of Defense especially emphasized “the importance of Azerbaijan’s defense power and its transformation into a global power center in the region” and, therefore, spoke in detail about the army building plans for the current year. In particular, they spoke about “modern weapons systems created based on the latest technologies in the arsenal of the Azerbaijani army.”

"The operational situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian conditional border was also analyzed."

"Relevant instructions have been given to organize combat duty on the conditional state border, strictly observe security rules, increase vigilance, and further strengthen continuous monitoring and control of the enemy's actions. The Minister of Defense has given relevant instructions to officials to pay constant attention to the creation of all types of reserves at bases and combat positions," the media reported.
