The presentation of Ayatollah Sayid Ali Khamenei, in a meeting with the committee of the international seminar “Tafsir Tasnim” on Saturday, was published today, Monday (24/2/2025) at the seminar location in the city of Qom.
Imam Khamenei in the meeting praised the character of Ayatullah Abdollah Javadi Amoli, the great exegete of the Koran, and author of the book of tafsir Tasnim.
According to him, Hauzah Ilmiah is indebted to the struggle of this great scholar because of his hard work for more than 40 years in researching, teaching, and writing the book of interpretation of Tasnim.
"Of course, the activities of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, in the fields of intellectual and spiritual sciences, fiqh, philosophy, and Irfan, are all important, and worthy of appreciation, but all of that cannot be compared to his hard work in the field of interpreting the Quran," said the Leader.
Ayatollah Khamenei, considering Tafsir Tasnim, as the pride of the Shia, and the Hauzah Ilmiah, and regarding the characteristics of this interpretation said, “The power of rational thinking of this respected exegete provides great help in understanding the points whose meanings are hidden in the verses of the Quran.”
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, considers this interpretation of the Quran to be the same as the Tafsir Al Mizan, but more contemporary and broader in scope, full of informative discussions, and can be used, and in fact is an encyclopedia.
At the same time, Ayatullah Khamenei, remembered Allamah Tababaei, the author of Tafsir Al Mizan, as a pioneer in efforts to pay attention to the interpretation and teachings of the Koran, in Hauzah Ilmiah.
He explained, "The holding of around 300 Al-Quran exegesis classes, at Hauzah Ilmiah Qom, is good news, and this strategy must be strengthened and maintained."
Tafsir Tasnim, the work of Ayatullah Javadi Amoli, was written in 80 volumes. This book of tafsir is the result of 40 years of teaching and research carried out by Ayatullah Javadi Amoli, and the collaboration of dozens of researchers in the research team "Tafsir-Tafsir Koran with Koran".
