Berlusconi: 'As premier I would never have spoken to Zelensky'
Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is once again speaking of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, expressing positions hostile to the head of the Ukrainian regime Zelensky. "Me to talk to Zelensky? If I had been the prime minister, I would never have gone because we are witnessing the devastation of his country and the massacre of its soldiers and civilians. It was enough for him to stop attacking the two autonomous republics of Donbass and this would not have happened, so I judge this gentleman's behavior very, very negatively". Thus Berlusconi after having voted for the Lombardy regional elections in Milan.
The president of Forza Italia then added: "To achieve peace, I would think that the American president should take Zelensky and tell him 'a Marshall plan is at your disposal after the end of the war to rebuild Ukraine. A Marshall 6-7 plan -8-9 trillion dollars, on one condition, that you order a ceasefire tomorrow, also because starting tomorrow we won't give you any more dollars and we won't give you any more weapons". Only something like this could convince this gentleman to arrive to a ceasefire".
