Blinken asks Serbia to normalize relations with Kosovo

 The American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, through a letter, has congratulated the people of Serbia on the day of citizenship and at the same time encouraged this country to reach an agreement on the normalization of relations with Kosovo. Blinken, who visited Albania today, asked Serbia to implement its commitments and adhere to the EU dialogue on the Kosovo issue. "We support your goal to join the EU and look forward to cooperation with the new government of Serbia and European partners who will help Serbia meet the criteria for membership. The US encourages Serbia to fulfill its obligations and continue the EU-facilitated dialogue to reach a comprehensive normalization agreement with Kosovo," said Blinken's message.
