"There is a serious threat from Russia", Blinken: We are taking it very seriously
Antony Blinken was asked today during the conference with journalists in Tirana, if there is a threat from Russia.
He said that many people will talk about this, adding that the focus of President Biden is the security of the USA and its people. Reuters: Information has emerged about a serious security threat from Russia, while a response is being sought from the US. How do you consider the urgency of this threat, and what is the day-to-day that the US has to face? Blinken: It's not an active ability, but something potential that we're taking very seriously. Very soon we will talk and have discussed with the partners. But the president's focus is the security of the US and the people, and as we approach that, that comes first. As for the hostages in Gaza, as you know we have given a proposal that summarizes what Qatar-Egypt-Israel has proposed. It is something that we believe there are some things that have not yet been approved but the opportunity is offered to work on an agreement. We are working hard to find an agreement, and I believe that this is possible. But there are some very difficult issues that need to be resolved. We are committed to reaching an agreement.
