David Cameron published a message on the social network “X” in which he noted that Britain wants to achieve the urgent release of prisoners and an increase in the amount of aid flowing to the Gaza Strip. The minister noted that he discussed these priority issues with Israeli President Isaac Herzog on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. “I continue to call for an immediate and sustained humanitarian pause to help achieve these goals,” Cameron said. More than 3 months have passed since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip, and the Zionist regime, with the full support of Western countries, has begun a massacre in the Gaza Strip, killing approximately 25,000 Palestinians and injuring at least 62,108 people. From the very beginning of the Gaza war, the British government declared its full support for the Zionist regime, ignoring the systematic killing of Palestinians. It comes at a time when British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is under growing pressure from public opinion and particularly from senior members of that country's ruling party to adjust London's position on developments in Palestine, push for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and help end humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian enclave. Since the beginning of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian supporters have repeatedly held mass demonstrations, condemning the barbaric crimes of the Zionist regime, demanding an end to London's support for Tel Aviv and the expulsion of its prominent ambassador. Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov at a press conference expressed concern about rising tensions in Southwest Asia and the Asia-Pacific region and said: This situation is partly caused by the crisis in the Gaza Strip. Peskov called on the governments of the region and neighboring regions to show restraint and said: Diplomacy is the best option for resolving issues. Since the beginning of the Gaza war, resistance groups in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and other parts of Southwest Asia have inflicted heavy blows on the occupiers in support of the Palestinian people's resistance.
