The Minister of Communications of Burkina Faso, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo has explained that the killings that took place in the villages of Nodin and Soro led to the opening of a legal investigation and that while they are waiting for the completion of the investigation and the determination of the truth about the perpetrators, Human Rights Watch in his view has decided to announce the results of the investigation. 

It will be remembered that the HRW organization named the massacre as one of the worst crimes committed by the Burkina Faso army since 2015. 

The HRW organization based in New York, USA has stated that the mass killings carried out in two villages in Burkina Faso appear to be part of a military campaign against civilians accused of collaborating with armed groups, and can be recognized as a crime against human.

The government of Burkina Faso has said that the campaign spread by the media about allegations against the country's government fully shows the bad intentions aimed at bringing down the army of Burkina Faso.
