"The crimes of the Zionist racist regime in the Gaza Strip are genocide, gross violation and destruction of all human values, and stem from sick minds and hearts infected with hatred and bigotry."

The statement adds:

"We, as the World Union of Muslim Scholars, not only condemn these barbaric crimes, but also call on the Islamic Ummah to real resistance and collective jihad against this open oppression and crime."

In the continuation of this statement we read:

"We invite the free people of the world to work to establish an immediate ceasefire in Gaza before Eid al-Fitr, and demand that international and legal institutions and organizations take immediate action to stop the killing of Palestinians and intervene to save the lives of innocent people."

At the end of this declaration it is said:

 "Based on our previous declarations, we demand the reopening of humanitarian aid crossings to Gaza, and if governments fail to do this, they will also be complicit in the hunger and death of the Palestinian people in Gaza."

Today, Friday, April 5, 2024, coincides with the 25th day of Ramadan, International Code Day. The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan was named the International Code Day with the foresight and initiative of Imam Khomeini, the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and after that, the Muslim Ummah of the world considered the issue of Palestine. as a necessity in the support of oppressed nations. In this regard, according to the Palestinian Information Center, the Palestinian national and Islamic movements called on all Muslims and free people of the world to participate in demonstrations and public activities in support of the Palestinian cause on the occasion of the International Codex Day, in on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

Also, in this statement it is said that we invite all movements, parties, trade unions and delegations of free youth around the world, their members and forces to participate in the activities and marches, which will be an important lever of pressure on the governments to stop the export of arms to the criminal Zionist regime and to prosecute the leaders of this regime for the genocide against the Palestinian people.
