China: It is impossible for Taiwan to be granted UN membership

  The permanent representative of China in the United Nations has said that the ongoing efforts of foreign countries to seek Taiwan's independence will fail. The Chinese media has reported the news on Friday, where they have quoted Zhang Jun, China's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, who has criticized Taipei's move to write a letter to the Secretary General of the United Nations through its protocols, asking for Taiwan to be granted membership in the UN. Jun said, "The so-called participation of Taiwan in the United Nations is a fake narrative, and that there is one China in the world, and Taiwan is an inseparable part of China's land."

The permanent representative of China in the United Nations has added that, plots to use Taiwan to control China will fail and hit the rock. Recently, Mao Ning, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China criticized the pressure to give independence to Taiwan and to be given membership in the United Nations insisting that, "There is always only one seat to represent China in the UN." The Chinese government, which insists that Taiwan is part of its land, has been insisting that it will take strong and decisive action, including military action, to defend its sovereignty and the unity of its entire land.
