Russia criticized the UN Security Council's failure to take the necessary measures after the Israeli regime attacked the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, the capital of Syria.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday, referring to the missile and UAV attack by the Islamic Republic of Iran on Israel, saying that this attack was within the scope of defense and within the framework of Article 51 of the United Nations charter.
The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that the international community did not show a clear reaction after the attack on the consular section of the Zionist regime's Iranian embassy in Syria.
