Criticism of the representative of the European Parliament for providing Western assistance to the President of Ukraine

Thierry Mariani said on Tuesday: “The West has created a monster by empowering this dubious president, who is ready to sacrifice Ukrainian youth for the sake of his illegal and unattainable goals.” He added: Zelensky behaves like a member of the mafia and is ready to eliminate anyone who poses a threat to his power. Mariani said: “Even before the conflict in this country began, he, with the help of Ukrainian secret organizations trained by the CIA, carried out various operations to eliminate opposition abroad.” This MEP said: “We should also mention the explosion in the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which was in fact an attack on Europe, and because of this a case should have been brought against the Ukrainian government.” He added that the West portrays the Ukrainian president as a hero, but in reality he “led his country to war by refusing to implement the Minsk agreements.” Mariani said: Zelensky abandoned logic long ago and his policies turned into state terrorism. Ukrainian society now recognizes Zelensky’s brutal regime. This member of the European Parliament regarded Zelensky's statement that presidential elections in Ukraine will not take place next year as an example of this type of governance.
