Declaration of solidarity between UK medical personnel and the people of Gaza
Hundreds of health workers in Britain held a protest on Thursday evening to show solidarity with the people of Gaza and condemn the bombing of medical facilities in the enclave by the Zionist regime. According to Brit24, protesters condemned the killing of more than 180 Palestinian doctors and nurses, attacks on medical centers, indiscriminate bombing of civilians and the blocking of essential humanitarian supplies to Gaza and demanded an immediate ceasefire in the area. Waving the Palestinian flag and chanting pro-Gaza slogans, they stressed the need to end the British government's unconditional support for the Zionist regime and stop the systematic killing of Palestinians. Also, hundreds of British School of Economics students walked out of their classes on Thursday in protest against the barbaric crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Protesting students gathered in the courtyard of the university and shouted slogans demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Organizers of the protest movement say today's rally is one of 15 demonstrations planned by students over the next two days. This comes as the Zionist regime continues its attacks on Palestinians, despite calls from the United Nations and human rights organizations for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
