ECOWAS: Armed groups in West Africa are a big challenge

Three countries namely Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso have announced the formation of a new federation (AES) and the first meeting of the federation was held a day before the meeting of the leaders of Ecowas. this year.

It will be remembered that the military rulers of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso met in Niamey, the capital of Niger, where they signed an agreement marking the creation of the Sahel Union and their commitment to the ECOWAS community.

Despite the three countries separating from ECOWAS, several heads of state of the economic community continue to call for dialogue between the two blocs.
