The President of Turkey, having supported the retaliatory operation of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Zionist regime, called the leadership of this regime the only one responsible for the escalation of tensions in Western Asia.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in his comments on the recent Israeli attack on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, the capital of Syria, said: “Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other leaders of this regime are the only ones to blame for the recent tensions in West Asia.”
He accused the Zionist regime's prime minister of trying to start a regional war and noted that "Netanyahu is trying to prolong the war in Gaza in order to remain in power."
The Turkish President also described the Zionist regime's attack on the Iranian embassy's consulate in Syria as the latest manifestation of Israeli escalation and stressed the need to intensify efforts by the Islamic world to stop the Zionist regime's brutal attacks on Gaza and punish it for crimes against humanity.
Since the Zionist regime's crimes began in the Gaza Strip on October 7, more than 33,843 Palestinians have been martyred and 76,575 injured, most of them women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
