Beijing praises Tehran's continued friendly policy towards its neighbors

A spokesman for China's Foreign Ministry praised Iran's renewed emphasis on continuing the policy of good neighborliness and friendship with neighboring countries.

According to CCTV, Li Jian last Tuesday thanked Iran for not targeting countries in the region and reiterated the need to continue the policy of good neighborliness and friendship with neighboring countries after the Israeli regime attacked the consular section of the Iranian Embassy in Syria .

He added that Tehran is Beijing's strategic partner, and China is willing to move towards jointly promoting a comprehensive, fair and sustainable solution to the Palestinian issue while maintaining contacts with Iran.

Referring to a telephone conversation between Chinese and Iranian Foreign Ministers Wang Yi and Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Li Jian said that China strongly condemned the Israeli regime's attack on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Syria and believes that such an attack by the Israeli regime completely violates international laws and is unacceptable.

Following the attack of the genocidal Israeli regime on April 1, 2024 on the consular section of the Iranian Embassy in Damascus, as part of Iranian territory and the martyrdom of seven legal consultants of the country, as well as the lack of a clear reaction from the international community to this illegal action, on the morning of April 14, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps punished the aggressor regime by launching drones and missiles towards the occupied territories.
