A spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces said: “In support of the Palestinian nation and in response to US and British aggression on Yemeni territory, we launched several missiles at a British ship as part of a special operation in the Gulf of Aden.” According to Al Jazeera on Monday, Major General Yahya Sari said: "The missiles hit the target and stopped the British ship." He added: "Judging by the damage, this ship is in danger of sinking in the Gulf of Aden." Major General Sari stated: "Our operations against Zionist ships and ships heading to the occupied territories will continue until the war against the Gaza Strip is stopped and its siege is lifted." A Yemeni military spokesman also reported shooting down a US MQ9 drone during a spy operation over Hodeidah province in Yemen with a suitable weapon. Yemeni army forces have committed that until the Israeli regime stops its attacks on the Gaza Strip, they will continue to attack regime ships or ships heading to the occupied territories in the Red Sea. The Yemeni army emphasized that navigation in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea is free for other ships and they enjoy complete safety.
