Erdogan's Famous Opposition Fetullah Gulen Died

The leader of the Gulen Community, Fetullah Gulen, passed away at the age of 83 in Pennsylvania, USA. According to Turkish Radio, the leader of the Gülen Community, Fethullah Gülen, who lived in America for many years, passed away last night (Sunday) local time due to heart disease at the age of 83.

Gülen has lived in Pennsylvania, USA, since 1999 and runs a massive education-espionage network in Central Asian and Eastern European countries.

Gülen was one of those accused of planning a coup against Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's government in 2016. During these years, Gülen was under the support of the US Intelligence Agency (CIA), and despite the Turkish government's repeated demands for his extradition and trial, Washington never accepted his return.
