US occupation forces continue to steal Syria's oil
According to Syria's official news agency SANA, the US occupation forces have used dozens of tankers to smuggle crude oil from Syria's northeastern province of Hasakah to bases in neighboring Iraq.
SANA itself, citing local sources in the city of Ya'rubiyah, reported that on Saturday 45 tankers, loaded with stolen oil, crossed the illegal border crossing of Mahmoudiya and headed towards Iraqi territories. On Thursday, Russian parliament Federation Council deputy chairman Konstantin Kosachev said the presence of US military forces in Syria lacks legal justification. He said the deployment is tantamount to occupying the territories of a member state of the United Nations.
