EU condemns continued construction of Zionist settlements on ZBRI

The European Union in a released statement condemned the continued construction of settlements by the Zionist regime in the West Bank.The Zionist regime, in expanding settlements on Palestinian land, seeks to confiscate and steal most of the Palestinian territory, divide the occupied West Bank and separate its regions from each other, consolidate the occupation and complete the cycle of annexation and Judaization of all Palestinian regions.
 
In a statement Wednesday, the EU denounced the Zionist regime's recent decisions to continue building settlements on the AZBR and displace dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, as a result of the Zionist regime's repeated attacks on the area, according to AAA News Agency.
 
In a statement, the EU, pointing out that the establishment of settlements by the Zionist regime is illegal under international law, called for the Zionist regime's decisions of May 17 to advance a plan to build more than 600 residential units in existing and new settlements on the ZBRI to be reversed.
 
According to UN Security Council Resolution 2334, the Zionist regime's settlement work is illegal. However, the Zionist regime, while destroying Palestinian homes and building Zionist settlements, continues to control Palestinian lands.
 
For more than 70 years now, as the rights of the oppressed people of Palestine have been trampled under the boots of the Zionist regime, the authorities of this false regime, against the backdrop of the deathly silence of international institutions, are becoming more impudent every day.
