According to the Al-Mayadeen news site, the families of the Israeli prisoners announced they would start a mass strike in front of the headquarters of the Zionist Regime's Ministry of War starting Monday (18/12/2023) as part of efforts to free the hostages still being held in Gaza. The Al Jazeera news site also reported that the families of Israeli prisoners blocked the road in front of the Zionist regime's Ministry of War for 241 seconds as a sign that 241 Zionist prisoners were in the hands of Hamas. This happened during a massive protest demonstration held near the Israeli War Ministry headquarters in Tel Aviv, and participants demanded the release of their family members who are still hostages by holding up placards. On Saturday, hundreds of Zionists and families of Israeli prisoners demanded the immediate release of Zionist prisoners in a similar demonstration. The movement of families of Zionist prisoners has increased since last Friday, three of these prisoners were accidentally killed by Israeli troops during the Zionist regime's army operations in Gaza. According to unofficial statistics from the Palestinian resistance forces in the Gaza Strip, they still have more than 135 Zionist prisoners, and they have announced that no basis for prisoner exchange negotiations will be provided except with a total ceasefire. Previously, during a temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, dozens of Palestinian women and children were freed in exchange for the release of a number of Zionist women and children from Gaza.
