According to a Sunday morning report from Sputnik, former Pentagon adviser Douglas McGregor said that US weapons stockpiles are now reduced and stressed that almost all weapons stockpiles have been sent to Ukraine. McGregor added: Despite all this help, Ukraine has made no progress in its war with Russia. A former Pentagon adviser previously said that the Ukrainian army is on the verge of collapse due to mass desertion of its soldiers. According to Sputnik, Moscow has repeatedly stated that Western military assistance to Ukraine will not change the final outcome of the war between Moscow and Kiev, but will only prolong the war. Following Russian President Vladimir Putin's order to attack Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the United States and Western countries imposed sweeping sanctions on Moscow and sent billions of dollars in weapons and military equipment to Kiev in response to these Russian actions.
