Former US Speaker: Netanyahu should resign, he has disrupted peace for several years

In the interview, Pelosi said: "We recognize Israel's right to defend itself, but we reject Netanyahu's policies and actions, they are very bad. Is there anything worse than what he did in the answer he gave?"

"He should resign, he is the one who should be responsible", emphasized the former Speaker of the US Congress.

Asked if Netanyahu is an "obstacle" to peace, Pelosi replied: "he has been for years," adding that she doesn't know if the Israeli leader is "afraid of peace, can't manage peace, or doesn't want peace."

Earlier this month, the former speaker of the US Congress joined more than 30 members of the country's parliament who signed a letter asking President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken to stop sending weapons to Israel.
