Four-day ceasefire announced in Gaza
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced in a statement that after difficult, complex and lengthy negotiations, we announce that with the help of Almighty God and the enormous efforts of the Qatari and Egyptian sides, we have reached a humanitarian ceasefire agreement (temporary ceasefire) for 4 days.
According to Arabnews agency, the Hamas movement in its statement announced the terms of the agreement, according to which conflicts on both sides, the military activities of the Zionist regime army in all areas of Gaza, as well as the movement of armored vehicles in this enclave will be stopped. According to the agreement, hundreds of special trucks with humanitarian aid, medical aid and fuel will enter all areas of Gaza without exception. Hamas added: "50 Israeli women and children under 19 years of age will be released in exchange for 150 Palestinian women and children under 19 years of age based on captivity records." The agreement states: "Attacks and flights by Zionist regime fighters and aircraft will cease during the four-day ceasefire in southern Gaza and in northern Gaza for 6 hours from 10:00 to 16:00." Hamas stressed that during the ceasefire period, the occupation regime has pledged not to attack a single person in all areas of the Gaza Strip, and people will have the freedom to cross from the north of Gaza to the south along Salah al-Din Street. The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement added: "The content of the agreement was drawn up based on the resistance's point of view and its considerations, which were aimed at serving the people and strengthening their stability against aggression, and the resistance always paid attention to their sacrifices, suffering. The occupiers did this from a field position forces to prolong and postpone negotiations." The statement concludes: “In announcing the ceasefire agreement, we emphasize that our hands will remain on the trigger and our victorious battalions are ready to defend our nation and defeat the invaders.” All but three of the Zionist regime's cabinet ministers voted in favor of the plan to exchange prisoners and establish a temporary ceasefire.
