France: demonstration against arms deliveries to Ukraine

French people demonstrated this Sunday, February 12 at the call of the president of the Patriots Florian Philippot for the exit of their country from NATO and against arms deliveries to Ukraine. "Macron your war we don't want it!": a march in favor of France's exit from the Atlantic Alliance took place in Paris on the initiative of the president of the Patriots Florian Philippot who assures that "thousands and thousands" of people took part.

The demonstrators also demanded an end to Western arms deliveries to the Ukrainian authorities. On his Twitter, Mr.Philippot called this "first national peace march" a "very, very big success". Earlier, in an interview with Sputnik, the former MEP accused the United States of pushing European countries to the forefront on the Ukrainian file, knowingly making them take all the risks.

Since the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, France has notably delivered 18 Caesar 155mm guns to kyiv and undertook at the end of January to supply 12 additional units. Paris has also promised to deliver to Ukraine a Ground Master 200 (GM200) radar produced by the French Thales. Medium-range, it can detect aircraft at 250 km and engage them at 100 km. France has also "engaged in discussions" with its allies in order to have an "always sufficient stock" of French Crotale surface-to-air missiles for Ukraine, announced the French Minister for the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu.
