The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei, stated that the current global movements in support of Palestine are a result of the spirit of the Islamic Revolution.
According to a report from the Information Center of the Office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that one of the blessings for the mujahideen during the Sacred Defense era was their ability to convey the message of steadfastness and resistance both within and beyond Iran's borders.
"Many experts clearly state that the movements taking place in the world today for the benefit of Palestine stem from the spirit of the Islamic Revolution," said Rahbar. "The slogans and positions we witness today in support of Palestine around the world are nothing other than the stance of Imam Khomeini and the slogans from the hearts of the Iranian people that have spread globally," he added.
Support from American Academics
Ayatollah Khamenei also highlighted the movement among American academics in support of the Palestinian people, viewing it as an example of the blessings of the Iranian people's movement and the spirit of Imam Khomeini. He described this phenomenon as unique in contemporary history.
"The expansion of support from American academics for Palestine today shows that the American government has violated all its claims and slogans," Ayatollah Khamenei explained. "Police in this country are kicking and handcuffing students and professors in front of the eyes of the public and cameras," he continued, criticizing the repressive actions taken by U.S. security forces.
The Spirit of Iranian Youth
Ayatollah Khamenei also stated that the spirit and motivation of Iranian youth to participate in efforts against Daesh terrorists and the Zionist regime in recent years derive from the same spirit present during the Sacred Defense era.
"In the incidents and provocations of recent years, including the 1388 [2009] provocations in Tehran, the younger generation who have not seen Imam [Khomeini] or the Sacred Defense era, entered the field with the motivation and spirit of that time and thwarted the enemy's plot to create problems for the world, the country, and its people," Rahbar explained.
