Hezbollah Secretary General: Islamic countries should send ambassadors to Sweden

The Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General has asked the Arab and Islamic states to call on their governments to withdraw their ambassadors from Sweden and expel Swedish ambassadors from their countries.Seyyed Hasan Nasrullah said, "We have witnessed insults and disrespect for the Holy Quran in Sweden, burning the Iraqi flag and insulting the country and its people," Al-Mayadeen TV reported."What we have seen in Sweden is the continued incitement of Muslim feelings. It is clear that the person who set fire to and insulted the Holy Quran did so with the permission of the Swedish government," he added.

Nasrullah asked the Arab and Islamic countries to call on their governments to withdraw their ambassadors from Sweden and expel Swedish ambassadors from their countries.Pointing out that if the insult to the Holy Quran is repeated, the next step will be to break ties with Sweden, the Secretary General of Hizbullah explained: “I ask you to hold protests tomorrow under the slogan “Expel Swedish diplomats from our countries, recall our diplomats from Sweden.”This is not the first time that Sweden has repeated abusive and disruptive action against Muslims in the name of freedom of speech. Last year, such inhumane and norm-violating actions were repeated in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm.
