Horror in Georgia, "inmate eaten alive by bedbugs and lice"

Horror in Georgia (USA): a prisoner, Lashawn Thompson, would have been "eaten alive" by lice and bed bugs. This was reported by Michael Harper, the family lawyer of Thompson, a 35-year-old African American found lifeless in his cell in a Fulton County, Atlanta. Thompson died in September after three months in prison and the photos provided by the lawyer show a cell in deplorable conditions, and images of the man's body with his face and torso covered in insects and parasites.

WASHINGTON - Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in Kansas City to demand justice for the black teenager, Ralph Yarl, who was shot in the head and chest by a white 80-year-old just because he had entered the wrong house. The 16-year-old African American lives in Kansas City, Missouri. Last Thursday his parents asked him to pick up his little brothers, twins. Ralph takes the car, leaves, but takes the wrong address and rings the doorbell of another house. A man opens it, looks him in the face - and shoots him twice, in the head and in the arm. The high school student is seriously injured but remains alive by a miracle. After the sixteen year old was rescued, the man was arrested the same evening just before midnight but released less than two hours without any charges. Now the teenager's family members are asking for justice.
