How many thousand Israeli soldiers were injured during the Gaza war

Parstoday - The spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) announced the political and working readiness of this movement to implement the second and third phases of the ceasefire agreement.

Hazem Qassem stated: “In order to demonstrate its seriousness in implementing all the provisions of the agreement, Hamas has agreed to the mediators’ request and increased the number of prisoners to be released in this phase.” According to AP  Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem, referring to the Zionist regime’s failures, said: “Despite Israel’s delay, we expect negotiations on the second phase of the agreement to begin soon.” 

He considered the Zionist regime’s condition of removing Hamas from the Gaza administration to be psychological warfare, and stressed that the withdrawal of the resistance from the Gaza Strip is in no way acceptable. The Hamas spokesman stated: “HAMAS does not accept Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s conditions regarding the disarmament of the resistance and the removal of the leaders of this movement.”

According to a report by the Deputy Commander of the Zionist Army for Rehabilitation Affairs, 16,000 Israeli soldiers have been injured since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7, 2023. Consequently, 8,600 of those injured in this war face physical problems, and another 7,500 are dealing with severe psychological trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and adjustment disorders. Another part of this report states: “846 Israeli soldiers and police officers participating in the Gaza war have also been killed since the beginning of the war.”

Israeli cabinet members clash

The Zionist regime’s Channel 13 television also reported the emergence of a dispute among members of the Israeli cabinet over US President Donald Trump’s controversial plan to expel Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. According to the report, the Israeli cabinet’s legal adviser, Gali Baharaf Meara, has stressed the need to prepare a legal ruling on Trump’s plan and hold regular meetings to review the issue, but Israeli Foreign Minister Gedeon Saar attacked the Israeli cabinet’s legal adviser and warned that ministers do not need his instructions.

Palestinian sources have announced that the tanks of the Zionist regime, in a new round of their attacks, killed at least two Palestinians in Rafah, south of Gaza. Local sources said: "There is a possibility of an increase in the number of casualties as a result of this attack."

The Ministry of Religious Affairs in the Gaza Strip has issued a statement that during the recent war, the Zionist regime has completely or partially destroyed 1,109 mosques out of 1,244 mosques in Gaza. According to this news, 834 mosques have been completely destroyed and turned into rubble, and 275 mosques have suffered major damage, so they cannot be used. This statement states that the cost of damage to religious sites in Gaza is estimated at more than $500 million.

According to the aforementioned statement, the number of martyrs among the employees of this ministry and religious and clerical figures of the congregation has reached 315, and the number of those arrested has reached 27.
