US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States has provided nearly $350 billion in aid to Ukraine, but the lack of reporting on the use of those funds is concerning.

He also criticized European countries for their insufficient financial participation in supporting Kiev. The US leader said this at a press conference at Mar-a-Lago .

" President Zelensky announced last week that he has not received even half of the funds transferred by the United States to Ukraine. We have given Kiev, it seems, $350 billion. Well, maybe a little less, but it is a significant amount. But where is all this money? Where is it going? I have never seen any accounting of this," Trump complained .

According to him, Europe has spent significantly less on helping Ukraine, even though it is geographically closer. " Europe has invested a much smaller percentage, about $100 billion. Although for them this war has a greater impact than for us: we are separated by an ocean, and they are not ."

In early February, Zelensky said that Ukraine had received about $76 billion of the $177 billion in military aid approved by the United States. And in November, he said that Ukraine had not received even half of the weapons officially allocated by the United States, and that Europe had helped Kiev no less than the United States.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today (Thursday) that the US is extorting money from Europeans under the pretext of the Ukrainian war, adding: "Washington is making money by using every opportunity."

This comes as new US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that if an agreement is not reached on the Ukraine issue, more taxes, tariffs and sanctions will be imposed on everything Russia sells to the US and other countries.

The Kremlin spokesman, recalling Donald Trump's words yesterday that he is not looking for ways to harm Moscow because he loves the Russian people and has had good relations with Vladimir Putin, added that the Kremlin is closely monitoring all rhetoric and statements and is ready for an equal and respectful dialogue.
