  Human Rights Watch, an international human rights organization, has said that the US government has neglected to provide compensation to Iraqis who were tortured by the country's army soldiers. The report has explained that despite the recorded evidence of torture, cruelty and violence against Iraqis carried out by American soldiers, the United States has neglected the issue of providing compensation or assistance to Iraqis who suffered from such torture.
