The Democratic representative of the US House of Representatives said she will not attend the speech that the President of the Zionist regime will give next week before members of the US House of Representatives and Senate.

Ilhan Omar stressed that "nothing can force her to take part in the speech of the head of state, who denied her and (representative of the Democrats of Palestinian origin) Rashida Tlaib entry into the occupied Palestinian territories."

She pointed to the 2019 decision to ban her and Tlaib from entering the occupied territories, which was based on a law allowing the government to prevent the entry of invitees who are under Zionist regime sanctions.

Yitzhak Herzog, head of the Zionist regime, is due to address the House and Senate next Wednesday, and also meet US President Joe Biden at the White House. The meeting comes as Biden called the current government of the Zionist regime the "most radical" government he has ever seen and refused to invite Benjamin Netanyahu, the regime's prime minister, to visit Washington because of his policies.

Ilhan Omar has been under pressure for a long time because of her statements criticizing Israeli policies and condemning the crimes of this regime. She, as a member of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the House of Representatives, has always taken a special position against the policies of the Zionist regime.
