Imam Khamenei: America's foolish plan on Gaza will get nowhere

The Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Mr. Ziad Al-Nakhala, and the delegation accompanying him met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, on Tuesday evening.

During a meeting with Ziad al-Nakhalai, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution yesterday (Tuesday), the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the delegation, congratulating the resistance's victory in the Gaza Strip, emphasized: "The 'unity and solidarity' of the Palestinian resistance leaders and fighters and the great work of 'standing up' to the enemy and advancing the difficult process of negotiations, as well as the patience and endurance of the people, have been the reason for the pride of the resistance in the region."

Describing the victory of the Islamic resistance and the people of Gaza against the Zionist and American enemy, Imam Khamenei noted: "This victory created a new format in the struggle of resistance."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, referring to some foolish American plans or other plans regarding Gaza and Palestine, said: “These plans will not get anywhere, and those who a year and a half ago claimed to be destroying the resistance in a short time are now freeing a small number of their prisoners from the resistance fighters in exchange for a large number of Palestinian prisoners.”

Imam Khamenei called the resistance's method of handing over the Zionist prisoners an embodiment of the resistance's greatness before the eyes of the world and added: "Now, world public opinion is in favor of Palestine, and in this situation, no plan will be completed without the resistance and the consent of the people of Gaza."

At this meeting, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Mr. Ziad al-Nakhla, congratulated the Leader of the Revolution on the great victory of the resistance in Gaza, attributing this victory to the constant support of the Islamic Republic and the leadership of the martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, and said: "Over the past year and a half, the Palestinian resistance was in a de facto war with America and the West, and despite the unequal balance of forces, the Palestinian resistance was able to achieve great victories."

The Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad considered the jihad and political “unity and cohesion” of the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups as one of the influential factors in the victory in Gaza, and while presenting a report on the latest developments in Gaza and the West Bank, the progress of the negotiations, and the agreement reached, he emphasized: “We will never forget the path of resistance and, as soldiers of the resistance, we will continue this path.”

** US President Donald Trump recently proposed the forced evacuation of Palestinians from Gaza and their relocation to Egypt and Jordan, and announced that the United States would take control of the area. These statements, reminiscent of imperialist policies and violating international law, have sparked a wave of regional and international backlash and reactions.
