Iraqi tribal leaders praise Operation Honest Promise

At a meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, a number of Iraqi tribal leaders praised Iran's response to the terrorist act of the Zionist regime, the attack on part of the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

According to the Arabnews agency, a number of leaders of Iraqi nomads and tribes from different regions of this country, during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, considered Operation Honest Promise a source of pride for the Islamic world and Muslims.
 
According to the Iranian Embassy in Iraq, during this meeting, Iraqi tribal leaders also expressed regret over the international community's silence on the Zionist regime's continued barbaric attacks on the defenseless population of the Gaza Strip.
 
This meeting took place at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad with the participation of more than 40 heads of nomadic tribes from different regions of Iraq.
 
In turn, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, Mohammad-Kazem Ale-Sadek, also praised the effective role of the nomads in defending Iraq at different periods of time, in particular their outstanding role in fighting the invasion of the Daesh terrorist group and their emergence on the scene in accordance with a fatwa by Ayatollah Sistani, the main Shia religious authority in Iraq.
