Israel Targets Civilians, Number of Palestinian Martyrs Increases
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced an increase in the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip to more than 7,000 people, and this number is expected to continue to increase as the Israeli Zionist regime's air attacks continue.
"7,326 Palestinians have died and 18,967 others have been injured since the start of massive Israeli air strikes on Gaza," said a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, as reported by Al Jazeera, Friday (27/10/2023 ) . According to the statement, 3,038 of the martyrs were children, 1,726 were women, and 414 were elderly. "110 Palestinians have died in the West Bank and 1,900 others have been injured as a result of the Zionist regime's aggression since the start of the al-Aqsa Hurricane fighting on October 7 2023," added a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The Palestinian news agency also reported that on Friday morning the Zionist regime arrested 11 people in Bethlehem, 6 people in Nablus and 16 people in al-Khalil, including a woman. On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Palestinian resistance forces launched a surprise operation called "Al-Aqsa Storm" from Gaza to avenge various Israeli crimes. This attack caused heavy losses for Israel. The Zionist regime, to avenge and compensate for its defeat, as well as stop resistance operations, closed all Gaza crossings and bombarded this area massively and indiscriminately.
