Israel will pay dearly for a death penalty law against Palestinians

For the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), the Knesset's approval of a bill establishing the death penalty for Palestinians who kill Israelis, giving its first approval to the far-right executive's bill Netanyahu who aims to legalize the death penalty against Palestinians. "This further confirms the homicidal nature of the occupation regime," the PNA said, warning that Tel Aviv will pay a heavy price for the controversial measure. The chairman of the PA's detainee affairs committee, Qadri Abu Bakr, said the Israeli law is not the first of its kind as the Israeli regime executes Palestinians on a daily basis. Earlier in the day, the Knesset (Israel's parliament) pre-approved the bill, which would apply to Palestinians who kill Israelis, but not to Israelis who kill Palestinians.
