The press secretary of the Russian Federation said  "It is high time that everyone in Kiev and Washington understood that it is impossible to defeat Russia." The war in Ukraine began in February 2022 with Russia's attack on Ukraine and is still ongoing. In an interview with "Russia TV" channel, "Dmitry Peskov" explained that Washington and Kiev should believe in the futility of confrontation and military conflict with Russia, despite the huge support provided to Ukraine by the West. Responding to the White House's admission that 96 percent of the budget allocated to Ukraine has been used up, the Kremlin spokesman said, "In fact, the US has been spending more than $200 million an hour recently to pay off its debts." In response to the presenter's statement that the current US government, like the previous governments, can easily print money, Peskov said, "Washington will soon run out of paper needed to print money." Earlier, the head of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, announced that the Western countries understood that Ukraine cannot defeat Russia even with NATO's military and financial support. According to a new Gallup poll, US public support for Ukraine is falling, and a majority of American adults say there should be a time limit on Washington's financial aid to Kiev for its war against Russia.
