Belarus: BRICS expansion is the end of Western imperialism

  The President of Belarus has said that the expansion of the BRICS community is an important step towards ending the imperialist rule of Western countries. BRICS is an alliance that includes countries from different continents that has given a new economic and political structure to the world. On Thursday, BRICS officially invited six new countries to join the emerging economic and political bloc, including the Islamic Republic of Iran. While insisting that the expansion of BRICS and the joining of new powerful countries to the group is the beginning of the end of Western imperialism in the world, President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus has said that the issue has not only angered the Western media but also high-level politicians of those countries because it is something that accelerates efforts to create a world with several sides of influence and decision-making.

He has pointed out that if things go as planned, a single currency will start to be used among BRICS member countries and replace the dollar, an issue that Westerners, especially the United States, are very afraid of. According to the President of Belarus, steps in the BRICS expansion process should be more concrete. The BRICS member countries have planned to take measures that guarantee their economic interests while reducing their dependence on the currency of the US dollar and the Euro of the European Union member countries.
