Japan takes hasty measures due to support for Israel
Amid a series of crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Israel in the Gaza Strip, the Japanese government has frozen the assets of nine individuals and one company for their ties to the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas. The United States and its allies, including Japan, have continued to support Hamas since the beginning of its resistance to the crimes of the usurping regime known as Israel. Kyodo News reported on the 31st that this punitive measure is the first imposed by Japan on Israel since the start of the assault operation known as Aqsa Storm on the 7th of this month. Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says nine Hamas operatives and one company were involved in financing Hamas. According to the Ministry's information data, the nationalities of these nine individuals are Palestinian, Sudanese, Egyptian, and Jordanian, and one of them is of Jordanian-Turkish descent. Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said at a press conference, ``We will continue to consider those subject to sanctions from the perspective of countering terrorist financing.'' Additionally, the US Treasury Department claims these individuals are key operational and financial members of Hamas.
