Libya-Italy: Foreign Minister Mangoush receives a copy of Ambassador Alberin's credentials
The Foreign Minister of the Government of National Unity of Libya (GUN), Najla el Mangoush, received the credentials of the Italian Ambassador in Tripoli, Gianluca Alberini. This was reported by the Libyan ministry in a message released on Facebook, in which we read that the ambassador conveyed to the minister the greetings of his counterpart Antonio Tajani, assuring his country's support for the efforts aimed at guaranteeing the stability of the North African country.
The ambassador also reaffirmed his willingness to promote and develop bilateral cooperation, according to reports from the Libyan ministry. For her part, Mangoush welcomed the ambassador wishing him success in carrying out her duties and offered him the support of the ministry. The Libyan minister then reiterated the importance of the role of the two embassies in strengthening cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
Alberini assumed the role of ambassador in Tripoli on 9 June. "Today I begin my role as ambassador of Italy in Libya with enthusiasm and determination to further strengthen the deep friendship and collaboration that bind Italy and Libya and for the affirmation of peace and prosperity in this nation to us so dear and so close”, declared the ambassador on taking office.
