Sudan army chief: There is no political solution until the rebellion ends
General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, commander in chief of the Sudanese Army (SAF), has said that no political process can take place in Sudan as long as the rebels continue to fight with the country's army and the situation will continue until the rebellion is ended.
General Al-Burhan, who also heads the Sudan Transitional Council, said this while addressing the soldiers at the Blue Nile military base in the center of Sennar. He has also explained the determination of the Sudanese army to end the rebellion and allow people to return to their homes and claimed that signs of victory have begun to emerge. The lust for power between the military generals has plunged Sudan into a war of destruction since April 15, 2023 and there are no signs of an end to the tragedy of the people of that Arab country in Africa. The main victims of the power-hungry war between military generals in Sudan are ordinary citizens The dispute between the military generals in Sudan has caused fierce fighting between the army SAF and the RSF Rapid Aid Forces and until now it has caused thousands of people to be killed and millions of others to become refugees. The United Nations Humanitarian Aid Office said last week that more than 13,000 people have been killed and more than 9 million have fled their homes since the fighting began between the military generals in Sudan on April 15, 2023. This week, a representative of the United Nations Children's Organization, UNICEF, said that the power-hungry war between the generals in Sudan is endangering the future of the country's 24 million youngest citizens. Mandeep O'Brien said that and added that, Sudan is facing a great humanitarian crisis that cannot be explained. "It's a living nightmare for children," he said.
