Libya-Italy: head of the State Council Al Mishri meets Ambassador Alberini

The president of the Libyan High Council of State, Khaled al Mishri, received the Italian ambassador in Tripoli, Gianluca Alberini. The High Council of State, a sort of Senate, reports it on Facebook. Al Mishri congratulated Alberini on his appointment as ambassador to Libya, wishing him success in carrying out his duties. During the talks, the parties discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen economic cooperation, to the benefit of common interests. Furthermore, the press release continues, Al Mishri and Alberini spoke of "support for the intra-Libyan path for the holding of elections as soon as possible, as well as the external interference of countries whose agenda does not include the stability of Libya". Al Mishri underlined the importance of completing the drafting of the electoral law, based on the indications of the 6+6 joint commission.
