Mattarella to Zelensky: Italy is at the side of Ukraine

Italy is fully on the side of Ukraine. This was stated by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, meeting his Ukrainian colleague Volodymyr Zelensky at the Quirinale. “I am delighted to meet you again after our meeting over three years ago, even if the condition you are facing is very different. We are fully at your side, welcome president”, added the head of state of Rome. “We appreciate the important military assistance which gives our country the ability to resist Russian aggression. The key to our success on the battlefield is the timely receipt of necessary assistance”. Zelensky said on his part in a message on Telegram in Ukrainian and Italian.
