The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has become a "biased and Russia-hating structure, it is a group of empty talkers, Russia's decision to withdraw from that organization was correct," said Federation Council President Valentina Matvienko in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, RIA Novosti reports.

"It is very good that we left that structure in 2022, realizing that it is not curable. Simply, it is not cured. This is a bunch of totally useless, totally submissive empty talkers. And their words, suggestions, empty formulas do not play any role. No one respects them, especially in Russia," Matvienko said.
