Missile attack around Damascus
While the Syrian army resisted the Zionist regime's missile attack around Damascus, the terrorists' attempt to attack the southern axis of Idlib also failed.
According to local News Agency, Syrian official sources reported that explosions were heard around Damascus, the capital of Syria.
According to this news, the Syrian army's air defense system responded to Israel's missile attack on the "al-Dimas" region in the western suburbs of Damascus.
A military source also reported that 2 civilians were injured in this attack carried out by the Zionist regime from the occupied Golan airspace.
Some Syrian sources also reported that the Syrian army's research centers in the Jamraya region, northwest of Damascus, as well as a building in the Qudsiya district, west of the Syrian capital, were also targeted.
While the Zionist regime's air strikes continued, the Syrian government repeatedly sent letters to the United Nations and the UN Security Council condemning these attacks and asking for them to be stopped.
In recent years, the Zionist regime has repeatedly carried out air strikes on Damascus and various parts of Syria; these attacks were repelled in most cases by the timely interception of this country's air defenses.
In other news, it was stated that the Syrian army prevented Tahrir al-Sham terrorists' attempt to attack the Maara Mukhs town axis in the south of Idlib, and several terrorists were killed or injured.
