Morocco did not accept Zionist regime aid to earthquake victims
Zionist media reported on Sunday evening that Morocco's Foreign Ministry had officially responded negatively to the Zionist regime's announcement of its readiness to provide assistance to earthquake victims in that country. After a devastating earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale at midnight Friday in Morocco, which killed 2,12 people and injured 2,59 others, many people are still trapped under the rubble, according to the latest statistics. According to AAA, the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that there is no need for Israeli (regime) assistance. Morocco's relations with the Zionist regime resumed on December 10, 2020, after a 20-year break. The reason for the breakdown in relations in 2000 was the emergence of the second Palestinian intifada.
A number of members of the Moroccan parliament have emphasized several times that the resumption of relations with the Israeli regime will not mean abandoning the struggle of the Palestinian people and their right to create an independent Palestinian state with its capital in Quds (Jerusalem). The people of Morocco have repeatedly expressed their opposition to the normalization of relations between Morocco and the Zionist regime by taking to the streets, holding meetings, burning the flag of the Zionist regime and demanding its end.
