Moscow: The EU has admitted that it serves US imperialism
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has said that the recent statements of Josep Borrell, the Head of Foreign Policy of the European Union, is a confession of the West that it is involved in the crisis in Ukraine to help the United States maintain its position of imperialism in the world.
Maria Zakharova said Borrell's statement has nothing to do with what Westerners claim is love for Ukrainians, but it has clearly indicated that European countries are puppets to serve America's desire to maintain its imperialism in the world, and its rapidly declining position in international affairs. .
In an interview with the CNN television channel recently, Borrell claimed that, "The EU cannot allow Russia to win this war (against Ukraine), otherwise the interests of the United States and Europe will be destroyed."
The high-level European diplomat went on to say: The West does not support Kiev out of generosity or because it loves the Ukrainian nation, but (it does so) for its own interests, and also for the interests of the United States as a global player.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has responded to Borrell's statement by saying: This is the first time that a representative of the Western administrations has spoken clearly about the real origin of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.
Zakharova added by saying, on the one hand, Western countries are winning to send weapons to Ukraine, and on the other hand, they claim that they are making efforts to find a solution to the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.
