Nasrallah: 1,500 Israeli Soldiers Killed Since Start of Gaza War

Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Movement, has revealed that 1,500 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the onset of the ongoing conflict against Gaza, prompting resistance groups in the West Asia region, including Hezbollah, to initiate attacks against Israel to compel an end to the war.

Nasrallah disclosed the number of Israeli soldiers killed in the Gaza war during his speech on Monday, commemorating the martyrdom of Mustafa Badreddine, Hezbollah's chief commander killed in an Israeli attack in Damascus, Syria, in 2016.

Nasrallah did not specify whether this figure includes recent months' casualties in clashes with Hezbollah.

The Israeli government has concealed the number of soldiers killed or injured in the Gaza conflict, as well as those killed in missile strikes and drone attacks by Hezbollah.

The Hezbollah leader stated that Israel has failed to achieve its declared objectives in Gaza, where it has killed over 35,000 Palestinians.

He emphasized doubts among even the Israeli populace regarding claims of victory in the Gaza war made by leaders of the Tel Aviv government led by Benjamin Netanyahu.

"There is consensus in Israel about the failure of the regime... Israelis mock Netanyahu when he talks about victory," Nasrallah said.

Nasrallah further noted Israel's purported intention to invade the southern Gaza city of Rafah, where over a million people have sought refuge, in an attempt to conceal its failures in Gaza.

Regarding Hezbollah's confrontations with Israel, Nasrallah affirmed that the Lebanese movement would continue its campaign to pressure Israel to halt the war in Gaza.
