In a powerful address to the International Resistance Front and the Congress of Martyrs of the Defenders of the Sanctuary, held in Mashhad, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah emphasized the need for unwavering efforts to liberate Palestine and the broader region from American and Israeli control. He lauded the Islamic Republic of Iran as a beacon of hope for oppressed nations, under the leadership of Imam Khamenei.
Nasrallah articulated his vision for resistance in his message, stating, "The liberation of Palestine and the region from American domination requires constant efforts, tireless jihad, and trust in the promise of Allah, which guarantees ultimate victory."
Highlighting the sacrifices made by martyrs, Nasrallah added, "We believe our martyrs are alive and sustained by their Lord. Their successes and the freedoms achieved with their blood are evident daily. The blood of our martyrs has triumphed over the swords of tyrants."
He praised the resilience of the resistance front, noting, "We must recognize the achievements and victories of the past decades, particularly the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran under Imam Khomeini's leadership. Today, oppressed people and resistance groups place their trust in the Islamic Republic of Iran and its courageous leader, Imam Khamenei."
Nasrallah also drew attention to the dire situation in Gaza, stating, "Our people in the Gaza Strip, enduring immense suffering from displacement, hunger, siege, and genocide, continue to resist. The resistance fronts in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq stand in solidarity with Gaza, contributing to our collective path towards a great and final victory – the liberation of Palestine from Zionist occupation and the entire region from American rule."
He underscored the need for sustained effort and unity, urging, "This ultimate victory requires relentless jihad and time. We must have full confidence in God's promise that faithful believers will prevail. After all the sacrifices, no one has the right to doubt or weaken our resolve."
Nasrallah concluded by praising Iran's role in the resistance movement, saying, "We, the oppressed nations facing the tyranny of the great devil and the Zionists, are blessed by the divine support of Iran. The Islamic Republic, with its holy system and self-sacrificing people, stands firm under the wise and brave leadership of Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei."
The Congress in Mashhad, which brought together various resistance groups and supporters, served as a platform for reaffirming solidarity and commitment to the cause of liberation and resistance against imperialist forces in the region.
