NATO and Ukraine are preparing a provocation by using chemical weapons

The special forces of NATO and Ukraine are preparing a provocation by using chemical weapons in Syria, the foreign intelligence service of the Russian Federation said. RIA "Novosti" writes about this.

According to the Russian side, the goal is to start a campaign to discredit Damascus and Moscow in the United Nations and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. For this, they want to involve the "White Helmets" NGO, whose activists will be engaged in video recording of the "consequences of the incident", as stated in the statement of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.

According to the claim of the Russian side, the action plan of NATO and Ukraine involves the use of a drone by militants to drop a chlorine mine container during attacks on enemy positions in the de-escalation zone of Idlib.

Iran has announced that the United States should completely withdraw its military forces from Syria and stop looting the country's natural resources in the name of fighting terrorism.

According to PT, Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to the UN, Amir Said Iravani, called on Washington to completely, immediately and unconditionally withdraw its forces from Syria in the Security Council session held on Tuesday, for the sake of peace and stability.

Iravani stated: "Instead of fighting terrorism, the Americans continue to support terrorist groups like Jabhat al-Nusra and loot the oil and wealth of the Syrian people."

He added: "Some Western countries, including the United States, are responsible for prolonging the conflict in Syria because they are trying to impose their will on the people of this country."

Emphasizing that everyone should respect Syria's sovereignty, political independence, unity and territorial integrity, Iravani said. "The international community must not leave the Syrian people alone in the fight against terrorism, foreign occupation and economic terrorism, which is the result of illegal sanctions."

Referring to the need to withdraw all illegal foreign forces from Syria, he emphasized. "Iran strongly condemns the continuous aggression of the Israeli regime against the sovereignty of Syria and the targeting of the civilian population and vital infrastructure of this country and is committed to the political settlement of the situation in Syria."

The ambassador and permanent representative of Iran to the UN said. "Along with the political process, international efforts must continue to facilitate the reconstruction of Syria and the safe return of refugees and internally displaced persons to their homes in Syria."
